Want a job in tech? @projectAcom, @_txtr, @Kent_Lyons, @3_beards, @huddle are hiring!
It’s that time again folks; when your itchy feet get to hot stepping their way out of the office and into the job of your dreams. If you sprechen sie Deutsch as well as you speak the Queen’s (I don’t, clearly) then you’re in luck as we have a roughly even split between roles in London and Berlin this time around.
But not so fast! If you fancy helping a chum find an amazing job, or you could be tempted to move yourself, check out Hire My Friend, where you can be recommended by your friend and contacted by a great company, without your boss finding out.
On to the roles!
‘txtr - UX Designer - Berlin
Fast-growing French ebook company ‘txtr is looking for a talented UX Designer to take ownership of the design for a new product for web and mobile at their Berlin office. Ideally you’ve got 3-5 years experience under your belt and are no stranger to concepts and wireframes for mobile apps.
You’ll need excellent verbal and written English, and workable German wouldn’t hurt either. Go forth and apply.
KentLyons - Experienced Creative Developer - London
London-based agency KentLyons are looking for an experienced and creative developer to join the team. You’ll need strong HTML, CSS and JS skills to pay the bills, as well as an up-to-date knowledge of the latest frameworks and libraries like Less and Sass.
Experience of Wordpress is essential, as is coding responsive websites, and a passion for experimentation and the desire to create beautiful and intuitive experiences. This is your chance, take it. Take it.
Project A Ventures - Junior and Senior PHP Developers - Berlin
If you’re in Berlin and have a great knowledge of PHP, or are keen to learn in a brand new company, the Project A fund could be looking to hire you. You’ll need to be fluent in both German and English for both roles and familiar with agile development.
The senior role has a project management aspect, as well as optimising and standardising the system architecture in collaboration with the architectural and operating team. If you can develop and implement high-quality applications that scale using PHP5, then this is the place for you.
The junior role will of course have the opportunity to learn from working with senior developers, supporting the development of new products and features in the front and back end. Check it out here.
3beards - Logistics and Community Managing Genius - London
Before you ask, no a beard is not necessary for this role. The inimitable 3beards collective are loooking for an ‘absolute demon’ events organiser and community manager.
The hope is, eventually you’ll become THE logistics person at 3beards, managing the events and putting out fires as they emerge. You can put your mark on the role by introducing better systems to manage the different aspects of the role. This is the first day of the rest of your life.
Huddle - Various roles - London
The rapidly expanding enterprise content collaboration behemoth Huddle is nairy a startup anymore, but if you fancy learning and growing with an experienced team in their Silicon roundabout office, they are looking for (deep breath) a senior accountant, a technical support engineer, a UX/product designer, a .net developer, a QA manager and a quality assurance and test automation engineer.
