When Ben met ... BioBeats
Merging healthcare and entertainment
Editors note: at Makeshift we love Ben Southworth. He’s one of London’s most indefatigable startup boosters - every time you meet Ben he’s talking about another amazing company that he’s just met. So it was a no brainer for us to ask him to film some of those meetings for everyone to see.
If you’d like Ben to come and talk to you - and then get featured here and in our newsletter you can head over to Google and fill in Ben’s spreadsheet. Over to you Ben!
Welcome to the first, exciting, interesting and we hope informative “When Ben Met…” video series. The aim is to showcase, celebrate and take a look at how startups are building their products, all told by those who are crafting them.

The first in the series, is with Travis Lee Street from BioBeats, a startup who are aiming to revolutionise healthcare and the music industry. By using the human pulse, their app, Pulse, provides music that is intrinsically linked to the rate of the heart beat. This gives unique auditory feedback to the user, and creates a compelling app experience.
P.S - I’m very excited to be producing these videos, and if you want to showcase your startup and talk about the tools you use to create your products, why not fill in this simple form and we’ll get you on video. :)
